EMG Named in OC Business Journal’s Annual Best Places to Work

Conducted by Pennsylvania-based, independent workplace researcher Best Companies Group, the Orange County Business Journal’s Best Places to Work program is dedicated to identifying and recognizing the best employers in Orange County. The recognition program encompasses a registration and a two-part survey process that gathered detailed data about each participating company’s benefits and policies (part I) as well as employee engagement and satisfaction (part II). A reflection of employee attitudes and opinions toward employment within a company, the survey asked employees to rate their companies on a five point agreement scale based on several categories including work environment, leadership, fairness, flexibility, benefits and values.
According to the survey responses, EMG employees are overwhelmingly satisfied working at EMG. The percentage of positive responses for the following core focus areas are listed as follows: leadership and planning (89%), corporate culture and communications (88%), role satisfaction (93%), work environment (96%), relationship with supervisor (90%), training and development (83%), pays and benefits (88%) and employee engagement (93%). Based on the total survey average, EMG received a commendable score of 90%.
“Based on the insightful analysis, the Orange County Business Journal’s Best Places to Work program also sheds light on areas where EMG as an employer can improve,” added Villicana. “This information will help EMG revaluate its policies and procedures and potentially revise them to ensure that our team members stay motivated while maintaining EMG’s positive work environment.“
