We have developed a complete range of environmental services based on GENS NANO-TiO2 hygienic coatings, which are safe and friendly to the environment. This technology is based on the photocatalyst ability of nano particles of titanium dioxide, which we call the 3-D Air & Surface Purification System. It is used for improving the indoor environment and for protecting against Sick Building Syndrome and bio-contamination.

Our places of business are public spaces that we share with our colleagues, employees, customers and clients. We share the air we breathe and the surfaces we touch. Gens-Nano-TiO2 coating transforms a treated surface into an antibacterial, anti-fungal, mold free surface, while purifying the air. Self-cleaning and other functions will work in the presence of light to protect a building’s interior and exterior from environmental contamination.

Our hygienic coatings are formulated to incorporate light activated Nano Titanium Dioxide (TiO2), which helps to deactivate bio-contamination.

(*) Photo-Catalysis is defined as "acceleration by the presence of a catalyst". A catalyst does not change in itself and is not consumed in the chemical reaction. This definition includes photosensitization, a process by which a photochemical alteration occurs in one molecular entity as a result of initial absorption of radiation by another molecular entity called the photosensitized. Chlorophyll in plants is a type of photocatalyst called photosynthesis. Photocatalysis is when chlorophyll captures sunlight to turn water and carbon dioxide into oxygen and glucose. Photocatalysis is the creation of a strong oxidation agent to breakdown any organic matter into carbon dioxide and water in the presence of the photocatalyst, light and water.
