(openPR) - VALLEY STREAM, NY — Central Veterinary Associates has announced that it will receive the Alley Pond Environmental Center’s (APEC) 2011 Friend of the Environment Award. Representatives from Central Veterinary Associates will accept the award at APEC’s Earth Day reception on April 21 from 6-7:30 p.m.

“We are pleased to receive this award,” said Dr. Steven Fox, DVM, President/Chief Executive Officer, Central Veterinary Associates. “We are very proud to be associated with Alley Pond Environmental Center and the work they do in raising environmental awareness. It is a great honor to be recognized by this wonderful organization.”
