(openPR) - Georgian artist Rusiko Plaksina combines abstract elements with image-based art both to highlight the beauty of art as its own entity and explore the progressive development of modernity as it continues to unfold. In fantastical images defined by a confluence of colors and a wide range of emotions, she brings balance and harmony to our modern consciousness by providing a visual counterpoint to the chaos that inevitably surrounds us. Profoundly influenced by the tumultuous recent history of her country as well as the diverse cultural heritage that is her legacy, she draws on mythology and legends, history and ancient artifacts, music, philosophy, and psychology in creating each image.

Above all, Rusiko Plaksina strives through her art to reveal the harmony of universal order and the immortality of life itself, and how we as humans relate to these truths. As she explains: “Approaching a blank canvas means to reveal an essence of life itself at different dimensions through my own courage and endurance, knowledge, perception, intuition, emotions, and imagination . . .”
