MINNEAPOLIS, MN- JANUARY 15, 2008- On January 8, 2008 the 39th Annual NAACP Image Awards Nominees were announced in Beverly Hills, CA. Over 1200 entries were received for 44 categories. Among the nominees selected were the incomparable Sounds of Blackness nominated in two categories:
