Paderborn (Germany), 6 October 2009 – Although the economic downturn has not spared the telecommunications industry, this sector was still less severely affected than others. It would be too early to talk about a clear recovery. However, the upward trend is noticeable. The online charging system can seamlessly be extended to function as a convergent charging system for online and offline charging. This expands the rating and charging system into a comprehensive end-to-end solution for convergent billing.
