A year full of positive developments...
Press release from: UTS Biogastechnik GmbH
(openPR) - After a one year´s break, it finally is time for the world's leading agricultural exhibition Agritechnica taking place in Hanover from November 8 – 14, 2009. UTS Biogastechnik GmbH is again going to be part of this important international agricultural event.
2009 was a year full of positive developments for the UTS group of companies - beginning with UTS´s headquarter moving into the new company building in Hallbergmoos near the Munich airport in March. The new service hotline (+49 800 UTS BIOGAS) was introduced successfully allowing the customers to reach UTS for 24 h a day. In addition, the range of services was expanded to include a full service offer for biogas plants, where UTS takes care of the maintenance & service of your biogas plant.
When Stefan T. Sziwek joined UTS in 2009, project development was launched as an important business segment of UTS. UTS now offers opportunities for the realization of biogas plants to farmers without their own capital contribution. This offer is valid for all sizes of biogas plants starting from 190 kW electric.
The tasks of new and continuous developments of our system components, such as pumps, mixers, separators etc., were bundled in the company UTS Products GmbH. UTS Products is going to introduce the new filter screw press to the market at the Agritechnica. This product is perfect for the separation of solids and liquids in both agricultural and industrial applications. In addition, visitors can get information about enhancements of the hydraulic mixing equipment and the introduction of a new design of the patented UTS service box, which could be improved in terms of ease of operation and safety. The UTS service box sets new standards with regards to reducing methane emissions from biogas plants since it allows the maintenance of mixers without a complete loss of gas from the fermenter being in operation.
In the course of further strengthening the presence of UTS in Europe, Dr. Thomas Buer has recently been appointed as managing director EMEA. Dr. Buer is responsible for both the expansion of UTS´ German and European businesses as well as for the further technological development of robust and innovative UTS technology.
Not to forget that several foreign markets were already successfully entered in 2009. With Matias Amor being appointed as managing director, UTS´ Spanish subsidiary UTS Proyectos de Energias Renovables SL was founded in July 2009. Mr. Amor and his team had their first successes in receiving contracts for two biogas plants in Cataluña and Castilla La Mancha.
After this so far very positive year, UTS is now looking forward to interesting contacts from Germany and abroad at the Agritechnica 2009. Visit UTS at booth D11 / hall 26!
