Irish Media Fund announces Closing Date for all Share Classes

Press release from: Stories of Faith Ltd.
(openPR) - Dublin/Berlin (sof) The management of the Irish media fund “Stories of Faith Ltd.” has defined June 30th, 2006, as a first closing date for all share classes. This private placement is addressed to international private and institutional investors who can either invest into Stories of Faith Ltd. directly or acquire shares in one of the associated Limited Partnerships. Average investments of 0.5 through 10 million Euros are currently being negotiated. The total amount to be invested is 76 million Euros. Within the multi platform project, mainly feature films about the large world religions will be produced. The first revenue streams are already expected in three years time. The fund could have an overall duration until 2013 and forecasts an internal rate of return (IRR) of 25% before tax. The creation of different products as well as a sophisticated franchising system minimizes the risk of this media investment compared to other products on the market. The cash flows are monitored by the largest independent media fiduciary “Fintage House” in the Netherlands.

The Vatican has been among the first to endorse the Stories of Faith project during the past weeks. The other religions, standing in interfaith dialogue with each other, also welcome the independent project which aims at promoting sympathies for people from different cultures. The series of films also includes five large-format features to be shown in special theatres with large-format screens, such as IMAX™. The groups of international investors will not only benefit from individual tax incentives because of double taxation agreements with Ireland and from substantial revenues, but through this project they will help promoting tolerance among young people all over the world.

The project was introduced for the first time at the international financing conferences during the Berlin Film Festival in 2006. The fund is not comparable with the former German media funds. Its private equity approach was complimented by experts such as the Godard, Verhoeven, Greenaway and Cox distributor Jonathan Olsberg. The initiators of the Stories of Faith project (stories-of-faith.com) have many years of combined international industry expertise.

Stories of Faith Limited is a Dublin-based Irish media fund and film production company. Together with its associated Limited Partnerships it offers a private equity investment opportunity in an international film and media project to qualified private an institutional investors.
