Developer API and functionality of command line control utility

USB over Network is a new and powerful virtualization solution which enables work with the remote USB devices over a local network or the Internet as if they were connected directly to one’s local PC. Developed for both Windows and Linux, it delivers fast operation and responds to any user needs.

Commenting on the release, Andrew Scott, FabulaTech products Lead Program Manager and FabulaTech Software Head of Development, commented: “The program is really easy to use. You download it, install USB over Network Server on the computer to which USB devices are connected and install USB over Network Client on the computers, from which access to remote USB devices is needed. That’s all”.

USB over Network can be used for:
-Virtual Environment. It will rapidly configure and deploy any USB device in virtual session. VMware, VMware ESX, Citrix XenDesktop, Microsoft Hyper-V ready.
-USB for Blade Servers. Now it is possible to work with any remote USB device as if it were directly connected to one’s own blade computer.
-USB for Thin Clients. A usb over ethernet solution for Thin Clients which allows using local USB devices in a remote session. The program allows access to local USB devices in remote session (RDP or Citrix ICA).

32-bit: Windows Vista / XP / 2000 / Server 2003 / Server 2008, 64-bit: Windows Vista / XP / Server 2003 / Server 2008, Linux kernel 2.6.12 or greater, Windows CE (ARM, MIPS, SH3, SH4 and x86)
