(openPR) - KRAH electro-technical factory decides on an SAP system

Bielefeld (Germany), July 28, 2009 – The KRAH Group, automotive supplier and worldwide leader for electronic resistors based in Drolshagen, Germany, has decided for the SAP consulting house, itelligence AG, and its industry solution it.automotive supplier. The company, with around 1,500 employees worldwide at nine locations including China, Brazil and Slovenia, is already planning for a production startup at the beginning of 2010. In particular, the goal of the project is to design the processes of KRAH to be more transparent and to optimize the intercompany business with it.automotive supplier.

After around nine months, the itelligence consultants plan to connect Purchasing, Accounting, Controlling, Sales, Production and Shipping including warehouse operations to the system. The plan calls for the SAP system to be first introduced at the three German locations, followed by a rollout at the locations in Slovenia shortly thereafter. A highlight of this project: All divisions of the company will be represented in a so-called SAP standard, without the need for additional programming. That saves time and money. Furthermore, the "Fertigungsexpress Cockpits", additionally developed by itelligence, provide a quick overview of financial and production figures. As an automotive supplier, KRAH is very tightly integrated in the supplier networks. The connections to external supplier and customer systems are managed by the interfaces to the Seeburger EDI System.
