(openPR) - Hamburg, July 24, 2009 – XING AG (ISIN DE000XNG888) is expanding its management team. The Supervisory Board has appointed Dr. Helmut Becker to the Executive Board as of September 15, 2009. He shall join the Executive Board in the newly created position of Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, fusing together the reporting lines of marketing and sales at XING AG.
Dr. Becker most recently held the post of Senior Director of Advertising and Internet Marketing at eBay Deutschland, and as Managing Director of eBay Advertising AG. Prior to that, he was the managing director of the eBay subsidiary Shopping.com Deutschland, and Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at eBay. He completed his university studies in Hamburg and Cambridge, where he earned a PhD.
