(openPR) - For the connection of own applications like CRM and ERP, serVonic now provides the new IXI-UMS FAPI Connector 5.8 for its unified messaging solution IXI-UMS. The Connector can be adjusted to different file formats and therewith serve as interface between IXI-UMS system and the CRM-program, for example. The required job- and header information for the sending and the reception of faxes can just be transferred via it.

The new IXI-UMS FAPI Connector enables a lot of adjustments like e.g. the selection of the fax text in ASCII- or HTML-format in the job file, the processing or delivery of several attachments in all formats that can be rendered as well as the possibility to integrate several recipients per message and several fax jobs in one job file. All the descriptions of the header fields are arbitrary. In addition to the message type Fax, also SMS, Voice and TTS are processed. Sending reports to another IXI-UMS Connector and therewith e.g. to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 are possible, too.

The new IXI-UMS FAPI Connector 5.8 can be installed on Windows 2003 / 2008 / XP / Vista in 32bit and 64bit and now is available for download from the website.
