(openPR) - The patented procedure developed by Professor Dr. Reinhard Graf – sonography of the hips of newborn babies – is totally painless, free from any radiation burden and other influences dangerous to health – and it had been honoured by the Austrian health ministry.
The examination of the hips of newborn babies (latest weeks 4 – 6 after birth) belongs to the usual examination programme of every paediatrician.
Professor Dr. Reinhard Graf started already 30 years ago to deal with this development.
The result is a system consisting of the products ‘Sono Fix’ – the positioning device for the examination – and ‘sonoguide’ the scanner holding part.
The hip sonography as per the Graf-method had been established as a screening procedure for all hips of newborn babies 1992 in Austria, 1996 in Germany and 1997 in Switzerland.

Meanwhile this general analytical diagnosis is accepted worldwide and is applied as a facultative method also in countries as Italy, Hungary, Poland, England, France, India, Israel, Spain, Japan, China, USA, Canada, and more.
