Video clips for mobile devices—as well as for at-home use—are the latest consumer craze. As is the case with many trends in the electronic entertainment industry today, Apple is leading the way with its iTunes music shop. In addition to thousands of music videos, Apple now offers video clips from the animation studio Pixar and even fee-based video podcasts. Warner has also been active in this area. The already-recognized chaos originating from the music market, as well as the disadvantages for the end consumer, are sure to increase.
