Press release from: Basement Systems Inc.

KENTUCKY -- It was a devastating weekend in parts of Kentucky due to some severe and dangerous weather. News outlets reported that strong storms and a tornado ripped through Madison County resulting in damaged buildings, injuries and at least one death. The category EF-3 tornado brought winds gusting from 136 to 165 mph through towns like Berea, Hillcrest, Silver Creek and Union City. The basement waterproofing contractors in the Basement Systems national network are used to dealing with wet conditions, but the damage left by these storms is extreme.

CNN reported that a waste water treatment plant was destroyed, two fire departments sustained major roof damage and some manufacturing facilities were damaged. The cleanup process is beginning and local residents are trying to pick up the pieces and get their lives back to normal again. Severe storms, heavy rain and flash flooding also devastated parts of Missouri and West Virginia. Because cleaning up after a severe storm and flooding can be a daunting task, any help that is available will make things easier on the damage victims.

The local Basement Systems dealers serving Kentucky want to help their neighbors recover from the storm damage. Master Dry (http://www.masterdry.com), with a location in London, Kentucky, covers parts of lower Madison County, and HighTech Basement Systems, located in Owingsville, Kentucky, serves upper Madison County. These dealers have access to patented Basement Systems products such as powerful sump pumps, drainage systems and dehumidifiers that can help get basements and crawl spaces dryer and cleaner once again. For homeowners affected or who know someone affected by the weekend storms in Kentucky, contact these local dealers today and let them help.

Basement Systems is an international network of waterproofing and moisture control contractors that is based in Seymour, Connecticut, USA.
