(openPR) - This year’s Spring Conference took place at VAG’s Mannheim headquarters from 20 to 23 April. In the course of this conference, which takes place twice a year, VAG employees and employees from the VAG agencies are trained in all valve areas and take a test about their knowledge after the completion of the training courses.
For the first time, training courses of three different levels were held. In addition to the one- and two-star level courses for beginners and advanced students, respectively, a three-star level course for professionals was offered.
This course not only demanded full concentration of the participants but also motivated the 19 trainers to show their excellence in communicating their expert knowledge about the applications and functions of valves and system solutions provided by VAG.
74 participants from 33 different countries brought our capacities almost to the limit of what was feasible. However, this shows us that we are on the right track with our training scheme and our philosophy of graduation with regard to capacity building within the VAG Group.
The evening at the bowling alley with all participants as a team-building event showed that personal contacts between the VAG representatives/agents and the employees of the VAG Group strengthen cooperation and increase peoples’ motivation in the day-to-day business.
As usual, the next seminar will take place in October. As was already announced by the Managing Director of the VAG Group, Mr Fellner-Feldegg, during the graduation party, an additional training course for the highest level to be reached – the four-star level – will be offered in autumn for the first time.
