This enables developers to easily create highly intutive applications for Windows Mobile Smart Phones and PDAs.
One of the major disadvantages of the Windows Mobile operating system is the fact that the user interface controls (such as menus, buttons, lists, etc.) are not optimized for finger-based interaction and require the use of a stylus. Creating a finger-based UI requires a lot of technical knowledge. And due to performance issues, developers that write their applications on the easy to use .NETCF platform with languages such as C# or VB.NET are not able to instantly create modern looking applications that have a finger-based UI as previously seen on other platforms such as Apple iPhone.

The component also provides modern animation and transition effects which are powered by a kinetic scrolling engine that creates a realistic behavior of the UI. Apart from the TochList control, the suite also consists of additional panel controls that can be used to create multi-button menus or status indicators. All components are fully customizable concerning the look and feel and support alpha bitmaps for full skinning capabilities.
