(openPR) - DeskCenter .Pocket is the new module for mobile stocktaking and physical inventory. With DeskCenter .Pocket it is possible to access and edit all system and component information and their asset data offline via Pocket PC. Barcode and RFID technology is fully integrated into DeskCenter .Pocket. In combination with a wireless barcode scanner it is especially easy and comfortable to carry out physical inventory or to edit asset data directly on site. For this purpose, DeskCenter Solutions offers a special Pocket Hardware Bundle consisting of the HP iPAQ 200 Enterprise Handheld and a wireless barcode scanner.
DeskCenter .Pocket is fully integrated into the DeskCenter Management Suite. With DeskCenter .Pocket it is possible to access and edit all asset information or to enter new PCs or components directly on site, to assign barcode labels to devices or to carry out the physical inventory. All systems and components can be easily identified via barcode scanner (Bluetooth or integrated). Barcode labels can be created directly in the DeskCenter Management Suite. DeskCenter .Pocket automatically synchronizes with the DeskCenter database to transfer all offline/mobile data.
DeskCenter .Pocket facilitates the inventory control: extra inventory lists or manual check lists are unnecessary and inventory control is done easily, comfortably and in no time.
