SMC Networks Launches HomePlug AV Ethernet Adapter For The SOHO Market
New HomePlug AV Ethernet Adapter Allows Easy Setup And Fast Networking For Homes And Small Offices
The adapter is easy to install and turns each available AC power outlet into a network connection point, making it the most cost-effective way to create or extend a home network, without the need to run expensive cabling or perform extensive network configuration. The Ethernet port simply connects to network-enabled devices such as PCs, modems, routers or gaming consoles.
128-bit AES encryption guarantees maximum data security. It also supports the Quality of Service to manage data rates of up to 200Mbps, allowing multimedia streaming, IPTV, VoIP and broadband networking. As the adapter is HomePlug AV compliant, it can co-exist with other HomePlug 1.0 devices without interferences.
