New Web Site Answers Questions About Credit Card Processing and Credit Card Terminals

Press release from: Chris Enders
PR Agency: ThatPRGuy.com
Tampa, Fla. —A new web site provides free answers to the most common questions about credit card processing, credit card merchant accounts, and credit card terminals as a free public service.

“There are so many fees associated with credit card processing that it is very difficult for any business owner or manager to understand how much it is costing and whether or not there is any waste. I created the web site to help people become better informed,” explained Chris Enders.

Many businesses accept credit cards for purchases. Companies such as retail stores, grocery, hotel, restaurants, doctors and other professionals, trade shows, mail and telephone order, on-line Internet businesses, and home based businesses are all expected by customers to accept credit cards and debit and ATM cards.

When a business accepts a credit card payment the merchant account company that processes it charges that business some fees. Companies may also charge monthly fees, statement fees, fees to process charges over the Internet, as well as fees to verify that the credit card being used is valid and that the transaction is not fraudulent. There are also fees associated with the use of credit card terminals, and the newest wireless credit card terminals.

Each credit card company such as VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express also charge fees that are passed along through the merchant account to the business accepting the credit card for payment. Debit cards or ATM cards also have fees for those transactions, and all these fees vary from one company to another.

“There are so many different fees it is difficult for the average business owner to sort it all out and determine exactly what they are paying and whether they may be paying too much,” explained Enders. “The merchant account companies purposely make their statements and fees difficult to understand, and that makes it hard for the average person to figure out if they can save money with a different company.”

Enders explained that any company can fax three months of credit card processing statements for a free analysis.

“Before you fax your statements you can block out any information you wish. We only need the dollar figures. It’s that simple. Once we complete the research we provide a free report detailing exactly how much money is being wasted each month because of high fees,” said Enders.

Business owners can fax a cover sheet and statements toll-free to 1-800-603-5968.

Ender’s web site at www.CreditCardProcessingMerchantAccount.com/info.php offers tips and suggestions to businesses already using a credit card merchant account and to business owners who are ready to set up a merchant account for the first time.
