TeamHost Cloud Computing System

TeamHost Cloud Computing System

Hagerstown, Md. – Virtual Global, Inc has released the TeamHost™ Cloud Computing System, an online toolkit where novices can create their own “dotcoms” without programming a single line of code.

TeamHost™ lets web designers go beyond the limits of static content and page layout. Using point-and-click tools, nonprogrammers can add robust functionality such as user subscriptions, data-entry forms, role-based access security, workflow management, team collaboration, business intelligence reports and more.

“We wanted to make it so easy that entrepreneurs can get into the Web 2.0 game without venture backing”, says Cary Landis, Virtual Global CEO. "With TeamHost™, you don’t need a million dollars, and you don’t need to be a programmer. All you need is a good idea and web design skills to create feature-rich Software as a Service apps.”

Michael Teel, a Web designer for a small business in Charleston, WV, puts it like this: “TeamHost™ makes me feel like a real software developer. It lets me do some things that used to be impossible.” Teel has been designing websites for more than a decade.

Web designers like Teel are a growing force shaping the future of technology. As software giants like Microsoft and IBM are laying off thousands of workers, the entrepreneurial talent pool is growing faster than ever. “We see the emerging pool of entrepreneurs as a tremendous ‘company’ in itself,” says Landis. “They have more combined ideas, talent and ambition than any other business in the world.”

TeamHost™ is not just for web designers. Software companies can leverage the platform architecture to cut their time-to-market, risks and costs in half. TeamHost™ also lowers the cost of getting started, because developers don’t need to invest upfront into expensive development tools and servers. With TeamHost software companies can create enterprise systems that scale to millions with minimal skills and investment. The cost of TeamHost™ is $5 per month per developer.

The TeamHost™ system includes a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS); a point-and-click toolkit called the TeamHost™ Factory; and reusable modules called TeamHost™ Gizmos. Advanced developers can use the TeamHost API to extend functionality and integrate the TeamHost platform with other web services and systems.

TeamHost is available at http://www.teamhost.com.
