Hair Direct Opens New Warehouse Facility
Bainbridge, PA – In order to accommodate its growing product line and to meet inventory demand, Hair Direct, an online hair replacement company, has opened a new 4,000 sq. ft. warehouse. The new facility opened on February 1 in southwest Elizabethtown and is the company’s second warehouse. The original 800 sq. ft. location is still in use at Hair Direct’s Bainbridge headquarters. The two locations are seamlessly linked via a network and phone system, which allows for real-time communication."Moving the fulfillment and inventory arm of our business off-site to a dedicated warehouse space is an exciting transition and we look forward to continuing our rapid expansion of new product lines over the next year," states Bill Biesecker, President and Director of Operations.
The new warehouse facility will initially be staffed by two full-time pick-and-pack staffers, with an expected need for additional employees later this year. The company is leasing the space which was approved by township supervisors in December 2008.
"Our new warehouse is an incredible space and finally gives us the room we need to sustain our growth over the past few years,” adds Brandon Andrews, Vice President and Director of Marketing.
