Demand for SAT tuition in London increases as parents realise that UK schools are unable to provide specialist help for students applying to American Universities

Press release from: Tutors International
(openPR) - Tutors International announces a strong demand for specialist SAT tuition in London as parents seek specialist help for children applying to American universities. Navigating through the university admissions process is stressful for students applying to the UK universities, but this is markedly increased when a student at a British school wants to apply to an American university. Adam Caller, founder of Tutors International, explains the reasons why, and how it has created the demand that inspired him to start a specialist SAT tuition service in London. For more information, visit www.tutors-international.com or call +44 (0) 1865 435 135.

"Applying to American universities involves a fundamentally different system," Adam explains. "The aspect that causes the most worry for students is the preparation for the SAT exam. It's very different to the SATs carried out in UK schools at younger ages, and performing at ones best is absolutely critical in securing a place at the desired US university." When asked why UK schools are not providing help for these students, Adam replied; "These students are in the minority, and in a school system that only has resources to cater for the majority, there simply isn't the budget to bring in people who understand the American admissions process and know how to prepare for it."

"Many A-level students can benefit from the experience of their teachers when applying to universities in the UK," Adam commented. "A great deal of additional help is provided simply from teachers having personally experienced the British admissions process, and also from having helped so many students over previous years. However, American teachers are relatively rare in English schools, so that extra help simply isn't there. In addition, having experienced the SAT exam once is not enough to really help a student to prepare for it. Our tutors are highly experienced in PSAT tuition, SSAT tuition and coaching for American college graduate testing," Adam enthused. "This, and the fact that we have extensive experience of tutoring in America, is why we are so well qualified to help students who cannot find the help they need for the American SAT exams in their current schools."
