(openPR) - CapComp GmbH now offers two new EDLC cell based ULTRA capacitor modules manufactured by NESSCAP Ltd. Korea.
5V 1,5F (EMHSR-0001C5-005R0) and 2,5F 5V (EMHSR-0002C5-005R0) Products in radial housing
The modules are based on two standard EDLC cells with 3F/ 2.7V respectively 5F/2.7V and are available as lead-terminal-types.
One of the major applications is „ SMART Metering“ or AMR (automated meter reading). This is the new generation of electricity- or gas meters offered by leading energy providers in all European countries and USA. Furthermore modules are used in industrial application, for example : gas- and smoke sensor, small UPS (uninterruptable power supply), fast charging remote control etc.
The products are specified for an operational temperature range of – 40°C ~ +65°C and meet RoHS standards.
