Perle Systems Releases Rugged Terminal Servers for Electrical Utility Substation Market

This range is designed to provide a cost-effective and highly secure solution for the electrical utility substations looking to meet NERC CIP and EPCIP requirements.

She adds, “These are rugged terminal servers with attributes like - support for high voltage AC/DC power, extended operating temperatures and emission, immunity and safety approvals associated with substation IT equipment.”
The IOLAN SDS HV Electric Utility Terminal Servers come with 8, 16 or 32 RJ45 connectors with software selectable RS232/422/485 interfaces, extended operating temperatures of -40 to +70 C, advanced security features for NERC-CIP and EPCIP critical cyber asset substation compliance, 10/100/1000 Ethernet, user authentication, event management security features, IPv6 support, a built-in failsafe alarm relay and rugged metal housing.
