Press release from: Banana IP Counsels

BananaIP (BIP) Counsels, a leading Patent Law Firm in India, is organizing a unique seminar on patents for corporate inventors on 22nd September, 2017, at Bangalore, India. Entitled “The Strategic Inventor,” the seminar is a first of its kind program to help companies generate business and competitive value driven Patents from their inventors. The program is aimed at helping corporate inventors create patentable and risk free inventions that address a company's business goals, and further its competitive value in the marketplace.

The corporate seminar has been designed by Dr. Kalyan C. Kankanala, a well-known Patent Attorney and thought leader in the field. The primary objective of the program is to help inventors gain valuable insights about inventing from the patent perspective.
The program includes three sessions, delivered by Dr. Kalyan C Kankanala, Mr. Nithin Kumar, and Ms. Soumyashree Kashyap from BananaIP Counsels.
The first session is titled, The Story of Patentable Inventions. The session provides an Understanding of elements to be considered for creating patentable inventions through participative storytelling and simple problem solving. The second session helps inventors learn the nuances of converting inventions into valuable patents by weaving inventor stories and experiences. Entitled, The Argumentative Inventor, the third session provides insights on risks from pre-existing patents through a mock patent trial.

Talking about the Seminar, Dr. Kalyan C. Kankanala said, "Our goal is to help companies get the best out of their inventors from the patent perspective. Every company wants patents that contribute to the company's business and financial value, and our program for corporate inventors is aimed at achieving the same.

Unlike the traditional patent seminars, this program will not include lectures and talks on patents. We will be using participative teaching and learning methods such as story weaving, role plays narratives and simple problem solving techniques. Rather than delivering boring lectures, we hope to help inventors learn through novel, specially designed, participative sessions."

BananaIP's seminar for inventors will be organized on 22nd September 2017, from 9 am to 6 pm, at ITC Gardenia Bengaluru, India. You may learn more about the event on BananaIP's website: http://www.bananaip.com/the-strategic-inventor/
