Cyclope Employee Monitoring Software – version 4.0 released

Press release from: Cyclope-Series

A new version of Cyclope Employee Monitoring 4.0 is now public and we are waiting for our evaluators to test it and give us feedback.
Before taking any action, I will shortly present you the list of improvements and the functionalities embedded in the new version of our employee monitoring software. As we mentioned in the previous post, new embedded features regard reports related to the top applications used, top websites visited, top active users, top idle users but also the top online users.

Top applications used provide information about the top 15 applications used by an employee or a department. If the manager chooses to view statistics for an entire department, beside the top applications used in the specified department one can see the time each member of the department spent on each top application. This feature has a printable version and for a deeper analysis there is also the “export to Excel” option (this feature is available in others reports also). The top websites visited reports provide information regarding the most visited websites by an employee or a department. Regarding the top active and top idle users reports, these provides a top of the most active/passive employees of the company. Active time is presented as exact time (hours and minutes) and percentage of total work time. With reference to the idle users reports, if the selected time frame includes several days the idle time is presented as total idle time (for the selected period) and as average idle time. The top online users reports, I consider it to be one of the most important feature, because allows employers to easily find out which employee has spent the most time online.

Together with the other features, we have a great productivity measuring tool that helps companies to reduce costs, watch out for unproductive stuff but also to find out who deserves the merits. And this is more than possible now, when the application is available in more languages, including Poland and Russian (along with English, Italian, Czech, Spanish, Romanian versions which were implemented previously).

Cyclope Series points at providing state of the art monitoring and filtering solutions for small and medium sized enterprises, which provide a detailed image on a company’s ICT infrastructure usage. Cyclope Series Solutions supports a high employee control, employee productivity and provides means of identify areas of abuse or malpractice.
