(openPR) - DALLAS – Attorney Michael Lowenberg, general counsel at the Dallas office of Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP, has been selected to a two-year term as chairman of the Dallas County Historical Commission.

The Dallas County Historical Commission (www.dallaschc.org/) is a volunteer board appointed by the Dallas County Commissioners Court to advise the Court on matters pertaining to historical preservation, and to initiate and conduct programs and activities to assist in the preservation of Dallas County's historical heritage.

“Dallas County is so forward-thinking that it is sometimes easy to forget the importance of looking back to honor and appreciate our rich, diverse history,” says Mr. Lowenberg.
