CeBIT 2009: TPG The Project Group showcases multi-project management with Microsoft Project and SAP integration
Press release from: The Project Group
(openPR) - Live demos on the Microsoft stand in Hall 4, Stand A26
Munich/Germany. 13 February 2009 –TPG The Project Group, a Microsoft Project full service provider, will be showing its Microsoft Project products live at CeBIT for the first time in its history. Highlights include TPG ProjectLink, the company’s new product for enterprise-wide multi-project management using Microsoft Project; and TPG PSLink, its tried and tested integration with SAP. Visitors can see the products in action in live demos by TPG The Project Group on the Microsoft stand (Hall 4, Stand A26).
TPG’s internationally acclaimed flagship product TPG PSLink provides problem-free data replication from SAP to Microsoft Project and vice versa. This enables companies to set up end-to-end processes that make many project management tasks much easier. For example, the product ensures that data from human resources or materials management systems are available for project planning purposes. Users no longer need to enter data into both systems, which saves them time and minimizes the risk of data entry errors. TPG PSLink also provides a clear separation between project planning and project accounting. Project managers and financial controllers can work with whichever system they prefer. In addition, it only takes a few days to integrate TPG PSLink with Microsoft Project and SAP due to the product’s flexible configuration options.
The second TPG product being shown at CeBIT, TPG ProjectLink, allows users to link tasks and other information across multiple projects. The data may originate in Microsoft Project plans, Windows SharePoint Server lists or SQL Server content. This makes collaboration much easier for teams working in heterogeneous multi-project management environments. The product even enables links to be created on the task level between projects involving different companies. It also reduces the time-consuming manual updates that continually arise during a project, increasing both efficiency and transparency in the management of the project. TPG ProjectLink accelerates information retrieval across projects, minimizing delays and other risks.
TPG The Project Group is a Microsoft Premier Project Partner and provider of products and services for Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM), with a special focus on TPG PSLink for integrating Microsoft EPM with SAP. TPG The Project Group has reserved some free show tickets for CeBIT 2009 visitors interested in finding out more about the company’s products and services.
