Yale Earns Spot on Green Supply Chain Partner List for Seventh Consecutive Year

GREENVILLE, N.C. (Aug. 22, 2017) – Supply chain sustainability efforts play an integral role in increasing productivity while reducing costs and environmental impact in an ever-changing, demanding delivery climate. In recognition of continued leadership in such sustainability initiatives, Yale Materials Handling Corporation earned a spot on the Inbound Logistics annual list of top 75 Green Supply Chain Partners (G75) for the seventh consecutive year thanks to its lithium-ion and hydrogen fuel cell power systems and telemetry solution.

The alternative power solutions offered by Yale include the first commercially available UL-recognized lithium-ion battery pack in the lift truck industry, a power solution that lasts twice as long as traditional lead acid batteries, helping reduce landfill waste and keep lift trucks moving more efficiently. Yale also offers lift trucks powered by hydrogen fuel cells, which produce zero harmful emissions.
