Koizumi Gets Support From 2008 US Presidential Candidate
Press release from: Imperato For President
(openPR) - Tokyo - After a trip that took him around the world, 2008 Presidential Candidate Daniel Imperato arrived at his final Asia Pacific destination, Tokyo and declared his support for Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.
“I point out today the media pertaining Prime Minister Koizumi. Unfortunately, I see a small group of Japanese people creating rhetoric like the Democrats and Republicans in the United States against its leader Koizumi. I support Koizumi and find him to be a very sincere, honorable, diplomatic leader with a personal touch of kindness and Japanese culture on his fingertips,” explained Imperato.
Additionally, Imperato has long been a strong advocate of increasing international relations with the United States and has sought to find ways to facilitate more two-way trade.
“I have been working in Tokyo market for over 20 years and still can say that Tokyo and its people are some of the finest in the world. I believe that our administration and President George W. Bush must do more to collaborate with the Japanese government and its people to collectively work together pertaining to manufacturing facilities making Japanese products in the United States. I believe that Japan could collectively and collaboratively work on upgrading US manufacturing facilities and increase jobs in the United States,” stated Imperato.
At this point, Imperato called on the Japanese people to rally behind their president instead of tearing him down.
“I call on the Japanese people to support their president and to stop tearing him down. He is a great man, has done a great job for Japan and its people, and should be graciously appreciated and accepted by all of the Japanese people,” expressed Imperato.
However, Imperato feels that there is hope for US and Japanese relations to improve for both countries to work together towards prosperity, a task that he is prepared to handle in 2008.
“In 2008, when I become the president of the US, I will be committed to increase trade, exchange more culture, and develop more business relations with Japan, its government, and its leader. I look forward to that opportunity.”
