First German JakeBox License Sold
Press release from: JakeBox
(openPR) - Media company MM MultiMedia has acquired the first German sales license for the award-winning eco friendly Swedish packaging concept JakeBox, used by among others Lamborghini and Rolling Stones. The value of the license deal is more than 100 000 EUR.
"It's a break-through in Germany for us", says JakeBox CEO Jakob Skarin. "When a player like MM guarantees those sales volumes, we know we have a concept that works."
MM MultiMedia is Germany's leading supplier of promotional discs, especially with licensed music. Some of the first major companies that have bought the Jakebox concept are Siemens and Nestlé. And that is even before MM have launched their marketing campaign.
"We have noticed that there is a huge demand for JakeBox", says MM VP Sebastian Schmelter. "Companies that issue discs for promotional purposes want to distinguish themselves effectively. And JakeBox really stands out in the crowd. And it's eco friendly too, which is more and more important."
In Germany, as in most countries that JakeBox sell to, there's an enormous boost in demand for eco packaging. The fact that JakeBox is as eco friendly as it can get, with 100% FSC certified carton board, is one of the reasons for MM's and their customers' enthusiasm. But only one of them.
"Of course there are other packages that are just as eco friendly", says Sebastian Schmelter, "but none that attracts so much attention, offers so much aha-experiences and creates such goodwill to the issuer as the JakeBox does."
Besides the guaranteed sales volumes, partially prepaid, MM will launch a big marketing campaign for the JakeBox concept.
"It's a very strong marketing campaign MM has planned", says Katrin Oswald, JakeBox sales manager for Germany. "That alone is worth more than a hundred thousand Euros to us."
"In a recession, it's even more important for companies to find efficient ways to stand out in the crowd to attract consumers. That's what JakeBox can offer them, and we can sense that they have figured that out now, says Jakob Skarin.
