The Mix
(openPR) - THE MIX gets the green light from the City of Atlanta to move forward with the construction of a Mixed Use Project in Virginia Highland.

After two years in the making, the City of Atlanta approved the plans for a multi-story retail, restaurant and residential project located at 841 North Highland Avenue.

“We are thrilled we received the final permits for THE MIX,” said Tonya Marlatt, Managing Partner of Landago Real Estate Advisors (www.Landago.com). “Construction will begin by April 2009. “

Several tenants have signed leases for space at THE MIX and Landago is currently in talks with additional tenants interested in expanding their businesses into the Virginia Highland neighborhood. They have also released the residential units for purchase.

THE MIX is located at 841 North Highland Avenue and will replace the current parking lot. The building will be comprised of approximately 25,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space, 12 residential units and 206 parking spaces located behind the retail building.

Landago Real Estate Advisors has partnered with Concrete Ideas, LLC and currently handles the day-to-day responsibility for property development, leasing and sales. Located in Inman Park, Landago shares Concrete Idea's passion for improving and investing in the Intown neighborhoods. On the heels of several years of traditional real estate, Landago was formed to address the real estate market from a different perspective. The Company is strategically focused on delivering all facets of real estate development in a targeted geographic area. Land development affects retail viability which is directly impacted by residential construction and density. It is a simple formula given the Company's intense commitment to fully understanding the Intown neighborhoods. This is an exciting project and Landago is thrilled to be responsible for all aspects of the design, project management, leasing and sales.
