Working with Stauff CAD models saves valuable time and costs during the construction

Working with Stauff CAD models saves valuable time and costs during the construction

Additional CAD models for fastening components now available online

Stauff successfully completed the expansion of its own CAD online database with additional industrial fastening components for pipes, tubes, hoses, cables and other flexible and rigid components.

In addition to the data already provided for other product groups and types, users now have direct and unlimited access to 3D models and 2D drawings of hundreds of additional products and configurations made from plastic, steel and stainless steel for quick and easy as well as secure installation of components with outside diameters up to 1016 mm and 40.00 inch respectively. Registration is free and provides immediate access without any time delay.

The files provided are native CAD formats which are compatible with all common design and engineering software (e.g. SolidWorks, Catia, Pro/E, Inventor, AutoCAD); most neutral data formats (e.g. DWG, DXF, IGES, STEP) are also supported. An animated live preview on the page itself makes it easy to select the correct parts.

“Plug and play” in the design and procurement process

For designers, this eliminates not only the complicated measuring and drawing of components, but also the import of third-party formats that are not fully compatible with the individual requirements. That saves valuable time and costs during the development process, for example when individual elements have to be replaced or integrated with other components. Each CAD model is also permanently linked with a reference to the manufacturer and the corresponding order code which can simply be transferred into the parts list of the designed system and then easily communicated to the purchasing department. Requests for information and prices can of course also be sent directly to the manufacturer at www.stauff.com/cad.

Stauff offers this service not only for fastening components but also for an increasing part of its product range: On www.stauff.com/cad, design engineers already have access to CAD models of e.g. tube connectors, test couplings, filter housings, pressure gauges and other tank and container accessories. The best prerequisite for the design of hydraulic lines and systems with components from only one manufacturer.
