For the 5th time, the caravan starts out and is coming closer to the undisputed summit of this very special journey. “Women’s World Voices Vol. 5” is both highlight and shingle of this impressing compilation series from Blue Flame Records. This time again, the caravane is loaded with treasures, whose beauty and preciousness overcome all expectations of the Arabian Nights tales. To set off this final release from the last releases, and effort was made to choose innovative and impressive music from women around the world. For this reason, “Women’s World Voices Vol. 5” is a 2 CD Box, which seperates the music styles into “Global Lounging” and “Global Crossroads”.

“Global Lounging” is dedicated to Down Beats, Pop, Chill Out and Smooth Jazz and is represented by artists such as Natacha Atlas, Susheela Raman, Moodoorama, Jazzamor, Ensemble Ethnique and Egyptian Nursery, who lead their Worldmusic and Lounge into the transglobal dimensions.

The journey is expanded in culture with “Global Crossroads”. On this CD artists such as Yulduz, Ishtar, Lila Downs, Nasiba and Maria De Barros reach an immense cosmopolitan extention.

“Global Lounging” and “Global Crossroads” are the Yin and Yang and the finish of a compilation series full of highlights and treasures.

Again, this time Guido.Artworks fotographies and his so-called Artpaintings underline the completion of this compilation opus. A 40 page book and MPG files at the end of each CD, taken from the “Global Vision” DVD series, enhance the collection.

“Women’s World Voices Vol. 5”, is in times of travelling-distress a wonderful and also experimental journey through female vocal multitude, a multitude, which is also the base substance of this compilation.
