The Ship2Save Operation Management System (S2S-OMS) is Ship2Save’s flagship product and is based solely on Microsoft technologies including BizTalk RFID. S2S-OMS has been utilized in mobility solutions for process improvements in supply chain management and asset tracking in the transportation/logistics, manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, natural resources, aerospace and automotive industries.

A recent Ship2Save customer, a large pet food manufacturer, benefited from such a system that allowed it to “encode and ship” its merchandise to its retail client without interrupting other processes. The solution required a mobile encoding station that utilized an RFID reader to write to and validate tagged boxes along changeable conveyor lines. Ship2Save’s S2S-OMS managed the hardware as well as the processes involved.
