(openPR) - ATLANTA, GA – December 4, 2008 – Professional musician turned author Kyle Morrison Lovely, front man for the band Shattersphere, has just published the first music theory book that is specifically designed to help the next generation of rock and rollers write better songs practically overnight.
Mr. Lovely says he wrote the book in order to help aspiring rockers gain a better understanding of music and ultimately get more recognition for their efforts. The 208-page book titled “Music Theory For The Modern Rockin’ Metalhead: Write Better Songs, Right Now!” breaks down the complexities of music theory into easy to understand language and concepts.
Kyle Morrison Lovely, comments: “I’ve never met a doctor who didn’t study medicine, never met a lawyer who didn’t study law, but I’ve met plenty of aspiring musicians who haven’t studied music. I’ve had many people ask me for songwriting tips and advice over the years, so I decided to organize and outline the key principles of music theory in a book that will help aspiring musicians and songwriters achieve better results. Many of the textbooks written on the subject are often hard to grasp and are full of more information that most modern rockers are seeking. My goal is to get results for musicians as quickly as possible.”
Kyle Morrison Lovely is 26 years old and currently lives in the Atlanta metro area. Kyle is widely recognized for his award winning music with the band Shattersphere and also for singing the original version of the ECW Theme “Don’t Question My Heart.” His new book can be purchased at www.shattersphere.net in hardcover, paperback, and eBook format.
