(openPR) - Kassel, November 26, 2008 - The RO-KA TECH sewage trade fair takes place in the Kassel exhibition halls for the tenth time from the 19 – 21.03.2009. The fair, which is run and carried out by the association of the pipe and sewer technology enterprise VDRK, has recently established itself as a leading event connected with the industry and sewer services since the move to Kassel in 2006. The RO-KA TECH event is an absolute ‘must’ especially for anybody who is responsible for property drainage or wants to start work as a service provider in this field. One will not only find the complete range of current cleaning, inspection and sanitation technology here. A top-class well-attended seminar offers further up-to-date information and also details concerning the current legal position related to property. In view of this large wealth of information the fair is also definitely worth a visit for municipal representatives in Kassel.

It is a huge technical and organizational challenge: By 2015 all of the approximate 15 million properties in Germany must be subjected to a condition check for the first time and in the case of defectiveness have to be reconstructed. This is the consequence of the Water Resources Act in connection with the technical regulator. Since December 2007 specific legal positions have affected each federal state according to NRW § 61 of the country water law. This also requires a leak-tightness test by the end of 2015, this regulation will be enforced by the municipalities and the property owner will be checked to see if the work has been carried out. As to which organisational plans exist, how to deal with these tasks successfully and to see which technology is available today one can learn all about this at the RO-KA TECH 2009 from many different perspectives.

Unfortunately, not everything which is currently in practice related to property technology and service corresponds to the criteria of quality and seriousness. Local authorities, trade associations and above all the VDRK have announced a war against botch jobs and marginal business models in a market in which a "gold fever atmosphere" increasingly prevails. The significance of this and with which instruments this can and shall be stopped will be addressed, along with many other key discussion points, at an extremely informative lecture event in the context of the RO-KA TECH 2009. Besides this the trade fair offers the chance to update one’s own technological knowledge - a unique opportunity to exchange practical experience with local authority managers and service providers.

The VDRK as organizer is awaiting the fair with great expectation. The exhibitor area has been increased by 30% to 11,500m² compared to 2007 and a complete additional new hall has also been opened for the branch on the Kassel trade fair grounds. Four months before the start of the fair 140 exhibitors have already booked their stands, including 20 new exhibitors - in total 170 exhibitors are expected from the branch.
