List & Label 14 supports Delphi Prism

11-21-2008 05:19 PM CET | IT, New Media & Software

Press release from: combit GmbH, Germany

At this year’s PDC, Embarcadero Technologies presented their new .NET product Delphi Prism .NET, and without any delay the software house combit has been able to adapt their reporting tool to support it. Thanks to this List & Label now seamlessly integrates into projects of this new .NET-Windows-development platform.

Delphi-Prism is based on the product Oxygene (previously known as Chrome) from RemObjects and can be used as a plug-in for Visual-Studio. By using this platform, Delphi developers take advantage of new .NET technologies such as WPF, Silverlight, ASP.NET or LINQ. The new tool enables them to conquer platform, framework and even database barriers.

combit has been supporting Chrome for the past two years, actively following its development. So the sample included for Chrome or Oxygene can now be used in conjunction with Delphi Prism.

List & Label 14 starts at EUR 610 / USD 778. Based upon exchange rates from Nov 19, 2008. Exchange rates may vary which could cause a change in the USD price. With the fully program-mable free trial version developers can test the features of the reporting component.

Founded in 1988, combit GmbH is situated in Constance, Germany. The software house develops and markets developer components for other software developers as well as standard software for small and large corporations. combit achieved brand name recognition and success with its leading products for address and contact management, order processing and stock management and database programming. combit enjoys a very good reputation on the international market for its developer components. Report generator List and Label has been integrated in numerous custom software solutions and standard software applications around the world and is based on 14 years of expertise in the reporting sector. End users can use the report Designer in 17 available foreign languages.
