(openPR) - The opening event of the initiative Navigation Global which took place on the Hockenheimring on 06 October had hardly been closed when the initiators started new measures and projects true to the motto ALL ABOUT SOLUTIONS. Apart from the modules already presented such as the lateral thinker workshops, the online platforms NAVIGATION GLOBAL COMMUNITY and SOLUTION GUIDANCE, promotion of young talent along with the Road-Showcase GLOBAL NOVATIONS and further workshops in other European countries with the focus being Eastern European regions such as Moscow, Prague, Warsaw and Bucharest are in planning.
„Because of the vast positive response and the explicit demand of various industrial partners, we are seriously thinking of offering another LATERAL THINK WORKSHOP or SOLUTION WORKSHOP in Germany,” said Patrizia Vivani, founder of the initiative. “A lot of people we had invited to the event could not find the time to participate in the kick-off event.” Therefore, it is currently envisaged to repeat this workshop in or around Munich. “This will give the innovative lateral thinkers who missed the first workshop the chance to catch up,” added Vivani. “Obviously, the planning will have to be done in parallel to the planning for the other European countries.”
The focus in the other European countries will be on the somewhat neglected navigation regions in Eastern Europe such as Moscow, Prague, Warsaw and Bucharest. “Western Europeans are all pretty saturated, especially the whole industry,” explain Vivani. “Nonetheless, we are planning workshops in Italy, France, Spain and Great Britain which are set to be held in 2009.”
However, there are more projects scheduled: One of the main projects is, without a doubt, GLOBAL NOVATIONS. This is a special Showcase on tour which shows innovative solutions from various branches as a virtual interaction platform. This Showcase in combination with the five other projects of the initiative and a special innovations competition documents and visualises the basis of the initiative. With the help of the international specialised press that will be used and involved systematically the markets are to be prepared together and new intersectoral and cross-national projects pushed.
The promotion of young talent is something extremely dear to Navigation Global. The talent competition YOUNG SOLUTIONS is all about the innovative ability and creativity of university students. The focus is on the questions: Which solution approaches based on specific demands of the industry can students offer and develop? This Europe wide competition will start in 2009 based on special tenders from the industry along with the European innovation and education centres attached to the initiative.
To Global Novations:
The increasing demand of the industry for innovative solutions shows the increased need of interdisciplinary exchange of different branches and, amongst others, the navigation industry. This enormous demand led to the conclusion to create an interface between the industry and small and medium solution providers. Global Novation was founded to facilitate any transfer and create closer cooperations of smaller solution providers with the industry. All projects of Global Novations focus on the integration of conclusions and experiences in the interdisciplinary cooperation between different branches. One of these projects is the initiative Navigation Global.
Navigation Global initiates projects from ideas and existing solutions of solution providers from the navigation sector. This platform with its Europe-wide contacts to small and medium solution providers links them to the matching contacts of the initiative in the industry as well as in research and science. On the other hand, the consortium Global Novations forms the frame to support direct and interdisciplinary exchange. The strategical partner multiBO then puts the ideas to market.
