(openPR) - [HONG KONG, 5 November 2008] Asian multi-platform content aggregator BNS has licensed the DVD rights for CETV’s popular "Aiya! Gang" Season 2 to Japan for release there on November 5.
The program, to which BNS holds the exclusive DVD rights for Japan, will be distributed by local content distributors Entri Co. Ltd and Japan Music System (JMS).
“Aiya! Gang” will be sold by major Japanese retailers such as Tower Records, HMV and TSUTAYA, following a major promotional campaign including trailers on Yahoo! Japan and on large displays throughout train stations (streaming.yahoo.co.jp) and the launch of a dedicated Japanese website (www.aiya.jp/).
The program is a popular celebrity comedy series which has previously been shown on MTV Asia and Season 2 was nominated in 2004 for Asian Television Awards for "Best Entertainment Program". It comprises 12 episodes at 30 minutes each which will be broken down into 3 volumes.
