Riley on being named by the legal services information company Lawdragon to its list of “Leading Lawyers in America.” In its fourth annual guide, “The Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America” represents less than 0.01 percent of the legal profession, and the company describes its list as the most elite group of legal professionals compiled in the country.
Martin is a Partner in the Trial Practice Group of Thompson & Knight’s Dallas office. He is widely recognized for his legal work and public speaking on the subjects of catastrophic injury, mass tort, and aviation litigation. He is one of the state’s most distinguished attorneys in the civil defense field. Martin is Immediate Past President of DRI-The Voice of the Defense Bar and is actively involved in numerous professional and civic organizations.
Riley has served as the Firm’s Managing Partner and Chairman of the Management Committee since 2001. He has more than 20 years of experience representing multi-party bank groups and other businesses in complex financial reorganizations, including matters that involved several of the largest bankruptcy cases in U.S. history. Riley is a noted speaker and author on effective law firm management and was recently featured in Lawdragon’s “100 Managing Partners You Need to Know.”
