Cuppping Invitation

Cuppping Invitation

The Brazil Specialty Coffee Association (BSCA) and the Brazil Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) will hold a specialty coffee business roundtable and promotional activities in Berlin, Germany, on June 16. The activities are part of the “Brazil. The Coffee Nation” project that the two entities carry out in partnership.

The cupping session will be held on June 16th at 3pm at Andraschko Kaffee Manufaktur Gmbh & Co. , Industriestr. 18, 12099 Berlin.

During the business roundtables, institutional presentations about BSCA and the Sector Project will be made, highlighting the sustainable nature of speciality coffee production in all of Brazil’s coffee-producing regions. BSCA members will showcase their products and organise cupping sessions for previously invited potential buyers.

In addition to promoting the Association and the excellent Brazilian products, the business roundtables have the goal of providing a new way for members to do business. The choice of Berlin, which will have the participation of 12 members, was due to this European capital being a target market of “Brazil. The Coffee Nation.”

According to BSCA, the activities of the Sector Project developed in partnership with Apex-Brasil have greatly expanded the visibility of Brazilian coffees around the world, which arouses greater interest from buyers and, also, of Brazilian exporters who start looking toward new international markets. “The consequence of this scenario is that we have annually recorded steady growth in the image of the product and of the volume of business conducted with products from companies participating in ‘Brazil. The Coffee Nation,’” highlights the Association’s Executive Director, Vanusia Nogueira.
