iDTRONIC presents at the ID World in Milan the SDiD™ 1210, the latest Low Frequency (LF) RFID Reader

iDTRONIC, a leading supplier of RFID hardware solutions, is the -European Distribution Partner of Wireless Dynamics Inc., a successful provider of NFC and RFID SD products. This latest agreement strengthens the partnership between the two companies and expands iDTRONIC´s distribution role for WDI´s innovative products in Europe.
"This first of its kind Low Frequency SD Card fulfills our commitment to provide economical and rapid deployment of mobile, real time RFID applications." said Ambrose Tam, Chief Executive Officer of Wireless Dynamics Inc., about the SDiD™ 1210. It is suited for most LF RFID applications including: pet and livestock animal identification, herd management, asset tagging, oilfield logistics and process compliance, vehicle security and fuel payment systems. With the SDiD™ 1210, RFID tag data transactions can be processed in real time through mobile connections such as WiFi, CDMA, GSM / GPRS or UMTS associated with the portable device.
The SDiD™ 1212 has a reader capability to mobile computers such as Motorola MC35®, DataLogic Pegaso®, and the SAT SRM-3® (Intermec CK61®). It provides the customers with a cost effective solution to inprove their productivity and security by migrating from bar code to RFID. In addition to the Low Frequency RFID read and write functions, SDiD™ 1212 can store user applications and data.
This true plug-and-play RFID SD card can be configured to instantly load drivers and launch applications that greatly increase the portability and ease of installation. By inserting the SDiD™ 1212 into the SD slot of a Smartphone or PDA, the integrated device can be used for most low frequency RFID applications such as asset tracking, field services, work-flow control, logistics, pet and livestock animal identification. RFID tag data transactions can be processed in real time through mobile connections such as WiFi, CDMA, GSM / GPRS or UMTS associated with the portable device.
The latest addition to Wireless Dynamics' innovative SDiD™ product line, the SDiD™ 1212 is available in 3 models for Low Frequency RFID:
• SDiD™ 1212 (s512MB) LF RFID SD Card with commercial grade 512MB memory,
• SDiD™ 1212 (i512MB) LF RFID SD Card with Industrial grade 512MB memory, and
• SDiD™ 1210 LF RFID SD Card with no memory
Both readers, the SDiD™ 1210 and 1212, are capable of interrogating most 125 kHz and 134.2 kHz LF RFID tag formats including: TI TIRIS®, NXP Hitag® and ISO 11784 / ISO 11785 half-duplex (HDX) and full-duplex (FDX). Developers and System integrators can easily create custom applications by utilizing the available SDK compatible with PocketPC 2002/2003, Windows Mobile 2003 and Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6.0 operating systems.
