MP4 to MP3 is a free online tool that helps in converting video media files like MP4, AVI, MOV, and WMV to MP3 or other audio formats. It is compatible with all of popular web browsers like IE, Chrome, Firefox and Safari etc. Users do not need to install any component nor desktop application, and the registration is not required either. Users can simply visit the site from no matter PC or mobile phone, upload videos and the conversion would be started automatically. After the processing the app will show them a download button, and then they could download the converted audio file directly.

The app supports almost all media formats you can think of, includes the most popular video and audio formats like MP4, MOV, WMV, AVI, MPG. And the output formats are various as well: MP3, AAC, FLAC, M4A, OGG and WMA. It also has an Audio Cutter function allows users to cut the output audio. By setting the Start Time and End Time in the "Cut the Audio File" field, users will get the cropped audio after the conversion.

For users' privacy safety, the uploaded media files would be deleted immediately the conversion finished. The converted file saved on the server safely with a secure link for only 1 hour for downloading, and then the file would be deleted by the system. No one could access the converted file except the user.
