The founder and name giver of the brand - Stefan Kudoke - embodies the competence of the company at once. He started studying the art of watchmaking from scratch. Two skilled masters in this handcraft taught him to understand and love the mechanical process of time showing. His outstanding talent made him finish his studies with honours. Later on he started working for ‘Glashütte Original’ in the studio for complications and prototypes and after that in the service department for ‘Breguet’, ‘Blancpain’ and ‘Omega’ in New York.
Before receiving a business degree he also became a master craftsman in watchmaking. In addition to his studies Stefan Kudoke began to design and manufacture his own watches which presents the foundation stone of KUDOKE.
KUDOKE has specialised in the refinement of swiss mechanical movements by hand by means of skeletonizing and engraving. This handcraft is mastered by only a few watchmakers and engravers today.
