(openPR) - New Delhi, 10th October 2008 - After a successful stint at IBC Amsterdam, WASP3D is all set to showcase its Real-time 3D Graphics solution at Broadcast India, Mumbai with its new design features and tools. Visitors can see specialized graphics in various application areas like business, elections, shopping, and sports.

Drone Designer, the design module of WASP3D is now powered with new design effects like refraction, lightening textures, X-ray and maps as shape files that can be seen in action at the show.

Shape file imports (.shp file import) – This can be used in election coverage, where in you need to show geographical territories & election constituencies. shp file database (shows the region names in poly data property) where you can set the column name as area code, state name etc. and can drag-drop colors for individual polygon from the color swatch provided. All you need to do is source maps from any approved source and import them as shape files to Drone Designer module. 3D effects and animation can then be added to it using the design module.

Refraction effect will enable a designer to add realistic lens or a glass like look to the object while lightening texture is an abstract element that can be used in the background for adding jazz to your graphics template.

WASP3D has also added new features to its version 1.3 for a better user experience and enhance the designer capabilities. These include render time optimization; new page controller for Comb Builder, Sting Client and Data Buzz modules; and Bee Keeper for seamless integration with automation systems.

Bee Keeper is another significant addition to the product. It is an application that facilitates interaction between WASP3D and all of the participating automation systems through communication protocols like MOS, GPI, TCP-IP and other standard integration protocols.
