Kuneri releases online mobile development tool SWFPack
Press release from: Kuneri Ltd.
(openPR) - Oulu, Finland - 9th October 2008 – Kuneri, the leading mobile innovation company, today announced the public beta release of their newest product SWFPack, an online mobile development tool for Flash Lite developers. This release is a milestone for the company carrying mobile development to the web.
Flash Lite is the emerging mobile technology of Adobe, estimated to reach one billion devices in 2009. Content created for this technology needs to be packaged as installers for distribution. Packaging has been a hassle on Windows, and impossible on other operating systems. Kuneri's SWFPack is a novel online service offering a cross platform, zero-install and easy to use Web 2.0 solution.
“We have a vision to make things simpler for mobile application developers. In this way they can focus on the content quality and better user experience. SWFPack is the first milestone on our roadmap and will be followed by a series of other innovations” says Ugur Kaner, CEO of the Finnish company.
SWFPack is available as a beta service for Flash Lite developers without a cost. With the first release, Flash Lite content can be deployed to Symbian devices in SIS format, followed by Series 40 devices in NFL and Windows Mobile devices in CAB formats in the following releases. Kuneri aims to make SWFPack a standard tool, providing more enhanced features in the future. More information can be found by visiting www.swfpack.com
