Rapid Interactivity for Effective learning

Rapid Interactivity for Effective learning

Harbinger Knowledge Products announced the release of MindPlay TurboPack and WordPlay TurboPack, the two most recent additions to its award-winning Raptivity product line. The MindPlay TurboPack includes strategy games and game shows. The WordPlay TurboPack includes crosswords and letter games. All these interactions are fully customizable and SCORM compliant just like other 200+ Raptivity interactions.

“When I beta tested these new games, I realized that Raptivity continues to push the envelope of instructional designer-friendly, rapidly developed learning games," said Carl Fischer, MFSS Instructional Design & Technologies at Putnam Investments who has been using Raptivity for creating learning games in a year long enterprise- wide training project. “These games are very appealing and also touch various aspects of instructional design - especially in regards to engaging the learner for practice, repetition and skill checks. The game shows are great for adding fun, while strategy games make the learners think and of course crosswords and letter games are great energizers for the learners. An excellent addition to Raptivity I would say!”, he added.

The MindPlay TurboPack is rooted in game shows and strategy board games metaphors, allowing eLearning developers to accomplish learning outcomes in interesting ways.

The WordPlay TurboPack has the popular crosswords which can be used for assessment as well as to build up interest in the topic. This pack also contains some innovative letter games.

All the interactions in these two TurboPacks provide rich text formatting capabilities, in-depth support to voiceover and advanced layout customization options.

“The speed with which we put together these packs demonstrates the power of the underlying Raptivity technology. We are happy to have provided our users yet another way to leverage their investment in Raptivity”, said Vikas Joshi, Chairman and Managing Director of Harbinger Group.
