(www.fr.com), has joined the Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Organization (www.ct-si.org), a not-for-profit organization designed to help advance the commercialization and global adoption of clean technologies and sustainable industry practices.
Fish & Richardson has been advising global corporations on their IP strategies for over a century and supports critical initiatives such as the CTSI as part of it’s corporate social responsibility program. “Fighting climate change and global warming is one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century,” said Frank D. Peterreins, Managing Principal of the firm’s Munich office. “We fully support CTSI in their efforts to educate, advocate, and champion policies to advance clean technologies around the world,” continued Peterreins.
The CTSI, an American non-profit organisation, has made it its goal not only to enhance traditional methods of energy generation but to also to support the promotion and commercialization of new environmentally-friendly initiatives. Fish & Richardson’s Kelly Kordzik, a Principal in the firm's Austin, Texas office and chair of its Nanotechnology Practice Group, has been invited to join the Energy & Clean Technology Advisory Board for the Rice Alliance Energy & Clean Technology Venture Forum in Houston. He will also serve as a judge of the Elevator Pitch competition, where companies will offer 90-second presentations on their businesses. Participants include entrepreneurs, researchers, investment professionals and business executives service the energy industry.
